City Seeks Public Input on Cape Coral's Flood Preparedness
The City of Cape Coral is developing a flood vulnerability assessment for Cape Coral, the purpose of which is to identify future areas that may require mitigation and protection from future flooding from rain events and tropical storms. This will play a critical role in the City’s long-term efforts to combat the impacts of damaging flood events in Cape Coral.
The City of Cape Coral invites the public to attend an open house on May 29th from 3:00-4:30 P.M. in Council Chambers at City Hall. In addition to providing information about the flood vulnerability assessment, city staff wishes to obtain feedback from residents about flooding issues they have experienced in Cape Coral.
