The NWNA Beautification Committee’s overall goal is to make and maintain Northwest Cape Coral as the best place to live, work, and play.  Efforts are aimed at improving our quality of life while bringing tangible benefits to the entire community.

Beautification Committee

Investing time and money in our public spaces raises residents’ property values by making our neighborhoods far more desirable. By adding landscaping to medians we provide several environmental benefits, including shade for pedestrians, cooler local temperatures, and welcoming habitats for birds. By removing litter, we discourage more trash and instill pride in our neighborhoods.  Furthermore, studies prove well-designed, clean public spaces naturally discourage negative behaviors by minimizing litter tossed by litterbugs, slowing down traffic to reduce speeders, and even deterring crime.

Your participation is vital to creating the community of our dreams. We invite you to share your creative ideas and suggestions for our vision. If you wish to volunteer your time or donate money for beautifying medians, contact our Beautification Chairman, Sam Yaffey, at sam.yaffey@nwcape.com.
