Overview
The DRC is dedicated to enhancing property values and the quality of life in the Northwest Cape by reviewing future land use and zoning changes, monitoring development proposals, and advocating with government and commercial entities on behalf of residents. DRC stances are based on in-depth research into issues and the majority opinion of NWNA membership.

Development in 2024 - is NW Cape going to be known for its resorts?
Who would have thought that NW Cape Coral would become a hub for tourists and be known for its resorts? It appears that’s what the future holds for our area. We already have one resort in the completion column and that’s the RV Resort at Tranquility Lake. The resort, off Durden Pkwy., is now open and taking reservations. It is the first resort project to ever be completed in the NW Cape. The resort has 500 RV spots with an expected 1,000 tourists staying there daily in the “season” and 500 in the summer. The resort features a 90-acre lake, swimming pools, clubhouse, fitness center, pickleball courts, and much more.
