I know it may not seem like it some days, but Spring is on its way. It’s now time to think about sprucing up our yards and neighborhoods in an environmentally responsible and Florida-Friendly way.
NWNA has organized a Florida Friendly Landscaping Class to be conducted by Lee County’s Master Gardeners. This class will teach the 9 principles of Florida Friendly Landscaping. The program is designed by the University of Florida to help residents and business owners create and maintain beautiful landscapes using research-based, environmentally sustainable practices.
The class is free and all participants will receive handout materials, Florida Friendly Plant Selection and Design Guides, and discount coupons.
