Key Public Activities and Programs:

  • Citizen's Police Academy: A free, 10-week program held Thursdays (6:30–9:30 PM) in Spring and Fall, providing behind-the-scenes insights into patrol, SWAT, K-9, and forensics.

  • Police Volunteer Unit (PVU): Volunteers assist with road patrol, marine patrol (waterways), parking enforcement (handicap/fire lane), and vacation house checks.
