Citizen's Police Academy: A free, 10-week program held Thursdays (6:30–9:30 PM) in Spring and Fall, providing behind-the-scenes insights into patrol, SWAT, K-9, and forensics.
Police Volunteer Unit (PVU): Volunteers assist with road patrol, marine patrol (waterways), parking enforcement (handicap/fire lane), and vacation house checks.
Explorer Post #465: A program for youth (16+) focusing on law enforcement training, including firearms safety, building searches, and CPR.
