The Roundabouts do indeed include the EXPANDED MEDIANS we selected which have the traffic lanes in the center and account for expanded sidewalks and multi-use paths.

We do need to tell council members that we do support the roundabouts and median design plans.

NWNA Leadership is requesting a big turnout of support!

You don't have to say anything, just be there and show our support.

Dear Friends,

A presentation by City Staff outlining the design plans for “Roundabouts” and “Expanded Median” construction during North 3 UEP will take place tomorrow morning at 10:30AM at City Hall/ Council Chambers (where regular Council Meetings are held).    We will need to come out in numbers to support the plan details in person.   I have in the past addressed the Council on behalf of those who do not want to speak.  I can simply ask those who are in attendance who are members or sponsors of NWNA to stand in support.

 The median plan design includes the change in Tropicana Parkway, moving 2-way traffic to the center median and expanding the sidewalk and multi-use path greenways significantly.   The Roundabout design include the these significant changes to the roadway.   NWNA supports this design plan!   Please send people and join us in support.  We do need to communicate to the council that we are in favor of this great improvement to our neighborhoods.
