The City of Cape Coral invites the public to a groundbreaking ceremony for Crystal Lake Park Friday, February 23, at 10 a.m.

How much will it cost?

The city approved a $60 million bond in 2018 to fund major expansion and improvement of parks and amenities throughout the community.
Crystal Lake Park is part of that bond and as of February has a project total of moRe than $9 million.
Pavement Maintenance LLC, a Fort Myers contractor, was awarded the contract on Feb. 7 by the city council.

What's the timeline?

Cape Coral Spokesperson Kaitlyn Mullen said construction will take approximately a year.
