The NWNA (Northwest Cape Coral Neighborhood Association, Inc.) was organized in 2004 to address the long-term importance of a communication network to keep everyone informed of activities that were of general interest to property and lot owners within our area. The NWNA was created to provide a forum for northwest residents to pose questions, to express their concerns as well as to make recommendations that would benefit association members that continues today.

Each year presents new challenges to our northwest community. As we have learned from past experience, the strength of our ‘voice’ on critical issues is vital particularly in matters that presently affect our community such as the North Spreader Canal, Ceitus Boat Lift controversy, Land Use and Zoning issues, widening of Burnt Store Road, Utilities Expansion, along with our present-day beautification project, Dress Up The Northwest, a median enhancement initiative.

We have worked consistently to develop a harmonious, positive and constructive relationship with our elected officials and city administration. We believe in working hand-in-hand with city officials, administrators, and staff to avoid problems and finding common ground whenever possible. Through our ongoing involvement in matters affecting our quality of life, we have become recognized as a reasonable, helpful, and progressive advocate concerning issues that impact our neighborhoods.
